How to Make a Lawn Fungicide From Inexpensive Household Ingredients

This article will tell you how to make an inexpensive, effective, and safe lawn and garden fungicide from common household ingredients. The fungicide is easy to make and use and it is safe for the lawn, garden, people, pets, and the environment. This fungicide can be used in place of more expensive commercial fungicides or when commercial fungicide is not available.
Mix one (1) Tablespoon each of baking soda, vegetable oil, and liquid dish washing soap in one gallon of water in a garden sprayer. The brand of ingredient is not important. I use an inexpensive, small hand pump type sprayer available from any garden store or department store that sells garden supplies.
Shake the solution to make sure it is thoroughly mixed. It is very important that the solution remains thoroughly mixed so shake the container often while spraying.
Spray the solution on the affected area of the lawn or garden. The spray may be used on lawn grasses, vegetables, and ornamental plants in your landscape. One gallon of spray will cover approximately 1000 square feet.
