Sidewalk weeds are those dreadful weeds that grow amazing full in between the cracks of your sidewalk. If nothing else is growing, you can bet that sidewalk weeds are. Here are some great tips to get rid of and keep away those dreadful sidewalk weeds we all love to hate.
Get a large gallon jug of distilled white vinegar. Pour the vinegar straight on the sidewalk weeds. do not dilute the vinegar. Be sure to leave the vinegar on the weeds, do not rinse away. Within two days, the sidewalk weeds will be dead and ready to be removed.
Take a 1/2 cup of salt to one quart of boiling water and mix well. Once the salt has completely dissolved, pour the contents on the sidewalk weeds for an immediate result.
Once you have killed the sidewalk weeds, preventing them from coming back is just as easy. Take regular table salt or baking soda and sprinkle on the area where the sidewalk weeds were once alive. Repeat this process once a month for clean sidewalk cracks.
