Killing weeds and other unwanted vegetation on a lawn can sometimes be quite a hassle. Using Tractor Supply's in-store brand of concentrated weed killer, GroundWork, can get rid of those unsightly weeds at a very competitive price, if not less expensive. Knowing how to mix the concentrated weed killer is necessary to maximize the product's effectiveness and to ensure there is no damage to the lawn or other unintended areas.

Wear gloves and goggles when working with GroundWork, as the product is an eye and skin irritant. Follow the label's warnings, which also suggest wearing a long sleeve shirt, long pants, socks and shoes when working with this product.

Pour 1 fluid oz., or 2 tbsp., of GroundWork concentrate into a sprayer or container for every 1 gallon of water.

Agitate the water and GroundWork mixture with a gentle circular swinging motion, being careful not to spill or splash the mixture.

Close the spray container and ensure that it is tightly sealed.

Spray the mixture on the targeted areas as directed by the label instructions.

Tip

Treat weeds with GroundWork during their growing season for best results. Wait three weeks before seeding or planting springs, stolons or plugs.

Warning

GroundWork concentrate is a herbicide. These types of chemicals are dangerous and should be considered poisonous. Always follow the manufacturer's directions and precautions.
